Lake Erie is the shallowest of the Great Lakes and the smallest by volume, bordered by Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York, with Ontario to the north. Water flows in mainly from the Detroit River and out by the Niagara. The EPA lists 9,910 square miles of water, 871 miles of shoreline including islands, and a maximum depth of 210 feet, and credits it with what it calls a “world class fishery.” Our hand-finished designs follow its real shoreline, from the western basin islands to Long Point and Presque Isle.
