About Lake Swag
I’m Kooper. I grew up in Chattanooga, crossing the Chickamauga Dam every week, and these days my lake house is on Watts Bar. Lake Swag is my one-person shop: shirts, mugs and prints for anyone with a lake of their own, the one they grew up on or the one they drive to every Friday in summer.
How each lake is made
Every design starts from the lake’s real shoreline, taken from public map data. Big reservoirs arrive in dozens of pieces, so I decide which arms and coves locals count as the lake and trim the river tails that aren’t.
Then I smooth the line just enough that a cove still reads on the smallest ornament, letter the lake’s name the way it appears on everything I make, and check each one at full print size before it goes on anything.
No image generator draws these lakes. If the shape on your shirt looks like your lake, that’s because it is.
What the photos are
Where a lake page has a photograph at the top, it’s a real photograph of that lake, licensed from the person who took it and credited under it.
The product scenes elsewhere on the site are styled images made from my own print files, so the design and where it sits on the product match what you’ll get.
