About Canobie Lake
Canobie Lake is a 375-acre lake in Salem and Windham, in Rockingham County in southern New Hampshire, about 1.5 miles long. It’s mostly spring-fed and drains by Policy Brook to the Spicket River and on to the Merrimack. The lake is the town of Salem’s water supply, and it runs 40 feet deep at most. Canobie Lake Park, the amusement park, sits on its east shore.
