Walloon Lake Personalized Glass Ornament

• Your name on it, free. Add your words, a family name and the year, like The Smith Family · 2026, and they run around the bottom of the ring. Leave it blank and it says Michigan. We email you a picture to check first. Changes are free, and nothing is engraved until you approve it.
• The lake. The real shoreline of Walloon Lake, from the village at the foot of the lake, where the Bear River heads out toward Petoskey, out along the West Arm and up the North Arm, the lake where Ernest Hemingway spent his boyhood summers, laser engraved in frosted white.
• The ornament. Clear crystal glass, 3 in across, with a faceted edge that catches the tree lights. It comes with a red ribbon, ready to hang.

Walloon Lake is in Charlevoix and Emmet counties in northern Michigan, a few miles south of Petoskey. It covers about 4,270 acres, runs 9 miles long and up to 1.3 miles wide, and drops to just over 100 feet. The Village of Walloon Lake sits at the east end, called the foot, where the Bear River drains out and runs on to Lake Michigan at Petoskey. Cottages are described as being on the West Arm or the North Arm. On the north shore at Windemere, Ernest Hemingway spent boyhood summers, and the family cottage is a National Historic Landmark that is still privately owned.
