• Your name on it, free. Add your family name and the year, like The Smith Family · 2026, and it runs around the bottom of the ring. Leave it blank and it says New York. We email you a picture to check first. Changes are free, and nothing is engraved until you approve it.
• The lake. The real shoreline of Seneca Lake, the deepest of the Finger Lakes, from Geneva at the north end to Watkins Glen at the south, laser engraved in frosted white.
• The ornament. Clear crystal glass, 3 in across, with a faceted edge that catches the tree lights. It comes with a red ribbon, ready to hang.

Seneca Lake is the largest of the Finger Lakes in central New York, spanning Schuyler, Seneca, Yates and Ontario counties. The city of Geneva is at the north end and the village of Watkins Glen at the south end. The New York State DEC lists 43,343 acres, 38 miles long and 618 feet deep at the deepest point. Wikipedia says it is celebrated as the lake trout capital of the world and hosts the National Lake Trout Derby. The lake drains north through the Seneca River and the Cayuga-Seneca Canal, and the DEC lists seven public boat launches, among them Seneca Lake, Lodi Point and Sampson state parks.
