About Higgins Lake
Higgins Lake is a spring-fed lake in Roscommon County, Michigan, known for clear water and listed by the Michigan DNR as the state’s 10th largest lake. It is about 7 miles long with 21 miles of shoreline and reaches 135 feet at its deepest. North Higgins Lake and South Higgins Lake state parks sit on its shores, and it is popular with anglers, paddlers and boaters, with ice fishing in winter. Our Higgins Lake designs are hand-finished from its real shoreline: both lobes, with Marl Lake at the southeast corner.
