About Dead Lake
Dead Lake is in Otter Tail County, Minnesota, near the town of Dent. The Minnesota DNR lists it at about 7,546 acres with 41 miles of shoreline, a mean depth of 9.5 feet and a maximum depth of 65 feet. DNR fish surveys record walleye, northern pike, yellow perch, crappie, bluegill, and both largemouth and smallmouth bass. It is not Florida’s Dead Lakes.
