About Dale Hollow Lake
Dale Hollow Lake straddles the Tennessee-Kentucky line, formed where the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dammed the Obey River at Celina, Tennessee. The dam was completed for flood control in 1943, and the lake has 620 miles of forested shoreline and 27,700 surface acres of clear water. People come to fish, camp, boat, hike and scuba dive, and the Corps notes the lake yielded the world-record smallmouth bass. Our hand-finished designs follow its real shoreline, from the dam up the Obey, Wolf River and East and West Fork arms.
